Steve Bray Baseball School
This ten-week program offered for ages 6-9 years-old on Mondays and ages 10-12 on Tuesdays, beginning in November and ending in early January, will cover all of the basic fundamentals of Fielding, Hitting, Pitching, Base-Running, Mental Development and Conditioning to keep players sharp through the winter months. Fielding
Beginning with proper footwork on ground balls and fly balls, players will basic fundamentals of each base as well as the outfield positions.
Hitting
Starting with a focus on the legs or base, developing balance as well as a consistent leg stride and spin. Next teaching the head and eyes to develop the ability to pick up and follow the pitch. Finally, the swing itself, broken down into segments, ensuring proper mechanics and the ability to make simple adjustments.
Pitching
The focus of throwing techniques will be on teaching and developing the five main points of the pitcher’s wind up. Proper arm angle and release points will also be taught.
Base Running
Run hard and run smart. Players will be taught fundamental base running techniques from getting good leads to proper foot work when rounding bases.
Mental Devlopment
Knowing the right thing to do on the field and having the confidence in your abilities to do it. Coach Bray takes from his experience as a professional to impart to students the mindset and knowledge ballplayers will need to be successful when they take the field.
Conditioning
Off-season conditioning is the key for every player looking to maximize ability, increase playing time and avoid injuries. Participants will be taught proper conditioning techniques and drills that can be used throughout the year to stay in peak condition for the season and get the most out their abilities.

The Steve Bray Baseball School meets for one 1.5-hour session each week. Each class time listed below is a separate class. The following are the days and times that classes are offered for each age group. Each class will fill up, and to ensure a proper coach-to-student ratio, we do not allow students to jump from group to group. Please choose the day and time that works best with your schedule.
